What do you focus on?

I focus my practice on representing clients in business transactions, commercial litigation, corporate matters, ethics, and alternate dispute resolution. I also serve as an arbitrator and mediator, primarily in commercial and employment disputes, and has extensive experience conducting proceedings remotely.

More than a lawyer

As the daughter of two immigrant parents, one of whom was a Holocaust survivor, I have a lifelong commitment to challenging injustice and serving the community. Serving on non-profit boards, particularly for organizations devoted to advancing the promotion of historically marginalized groups, is something I value.  In that regard, I have served on various groups advocating against bigotry, such as the American Jewish Committee and the Women in the Profession Committees at the local, state and national level. For over twenty years, I have been writing and teaching about ethics issues, including confronting bullying and bias in the legal profession and the business world. I continue to advocate for a level playing field for everyone in the workforce.

I still find time to relax, enjoying many forms of exercise, including hiking, cycling, yoga and Pilates.  My passion is dance, having studied many types of dance ranging from traditional ballet to my favorites Caribbean and African dance. Unable to sit still even watching a movie, my hands are often full with my latest craft obsession, whether it’s embroidery or knitting.  I am especially proud of raising my daughter Emily, who is a successful entrepreneur.
