Griesing Law Promotes Employment Attorney & Litigator Melissa Hazell Davis to Firm Member

January 6, 2022 (Philadelphia, PA) – Griesing Law, LLC is pleased to announce Melissa Hazell Davis has been promoted to Member in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation and Employment practice groups.

Melissa has over ten years of experience handling complex commercial litigation and employment matters for a wide range of clients, including both public and privately-held corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and individuals in all types of business disputes. She defends employers in litigation arising out of claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and represents employers in breach of contract, trade secret, non-compete disputes. Melissa also drafts and updates client policies, advises higher education institutions on compliance with Title IX, conducts sensitive confidential investigations, and prepares investigative findings and recommendations. Melissa has argued and tried cases in federal and state courts and private arbitrations. Prior to joining Griesing Law, Melissa worked in the litigation departments of several regional and national law firms.

Melissa received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and she received her B.A. in History from Yale University.
