What do you focus on?

I focus on assisting the team of attorneys in various litigation matters. Furthermore, I research and apply local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as collaborate with staff attorneys in drafting various motions, supporting briefs, and client correspondence.

More than a lawyer

As a first generation lawyer, I am often confronted with loads of questions from friends and family about why I chose this career path. The question comes often and in many forms: “why did you want to be a lawyer,” “when did you know,” “what do you like about being a lawyer.”  The truth is, I have wanted to be a lawyer for as long as I can remember.  The other truth is that I could never put into words why.  Sure, there is the academic aspect of it which feeds my bookworm brain, but there is also the amazing feeling that comes along with knowing you helped someone to be in a better position than they were when you met them. I have worked in several different practice areas of law and that feeling never goes away. I am committed to helping people and working in the legal industry allows me to do that every day.

In my spare time I love to cook and entertain;  there is nothing that makes me happier than a house full of my friends and family laughing and enjoying good food.  I have a two year old mini-bernadoodle, Charlie, who I love to go on long walks and hikes with.  Chances are, if you know me, you have heard me talk about Charlie as typically find any way to bring him up.  I spend a lot of my weekends back home at my parents’ house in the Poconos where my friends and I enjoy camping, riding four-wheelers, and fishing. I love to travel and explore new cities and new cuisines – my favorite place I have been to thus far is Dubrovnik, Croatia. Next, I want to take a cooking class in Tuscany!
